About ENGAGE
ENGAGE was created by fellow educator Christina Patmore as a solution to a challenge facing both teachers and administrators in education today. Although research has proven that increasing Professional Development opportunities will have a positive impact on teacher efficacy there is a lack of organization and community around the vast pool of choices offered.
Engage was established to bridge that gap. With ENGAGE you will find a comprehensive list of Professional Development choices and be able to quickly navigate through a summary of a program's offerings to find the one that suits your needs and learning objectives. The ENGAGE blog, Let's ENGAGE, will serve as a supportive platform to find reviews from real educators and give you valuable feedback and insight into the programs.
Seeking to go a step further ENGAGE created additional community based platforms so that educators can connect with one another to deepen their understanding with follow up questions and reviews. From the Let's ENGAGE blog to social media platforms like the ENGAGE Facebook Community Group and ENGAGED on Twitter where ideas can be shared with a simple hashtag, the goal is to support and strengthen each individual's take away from the Professional Development with the spirit of collaboration and increase each individual's own Personal Learning Network.
To Learn Is To Grow
Our students are on an educational journey but each path is unique. How we best facilitate that learning to maximize each student is our journey as educators. At ENGAGE the goal is to unpack professional development so you can easily find enrichment opportunities that will be the most beneficial for your individual learners needs.
Welcome to the place where you'll never stop growing, no matter how much you know.
