Below you will find Professional Development options listed by their best suited category. Since many programs offer material that will fit into several sections, thus making them even richer learning opportunities, ENGAGE has added a catalog tagging system on the Let's ENGAGE blog so that you can search for a similar programs with ease.

This list will continue to grow and evolve. Programs will be added on a continual basis with ENGAGE being open to suggestions for new additions. Please take our poll on program differentiation so that ENGAGE might better be able to serve your Professional Development needs.

Reading Recovery

Reading Recovery offers a host of PD options focusing on reading intervention. Learning Toolkits, Online Videos and Webcasts, Journals, Listening Library and an e-Learning Center as a hub of organization are offered. National Council of Teachers of Mathematics

"These grade-band specific professional learning modules are focused on the Effective Teaching Practices and Guiding Principles from Principles to Actions: Ensuring Mathematical Success for All."


California Academy of Sciences (CAS)

Online courses and workshops are offered supporting the goal of diving "into science content, engage in effective teaching pedagogy, and develop a sense of how science really works."

PBL Works

Focusing on increasing educators ability to foster  student learning "that is deep and long-lasting" through a Project Based Learning approach PBL Works offers workshops, courses and services. 

Teacher Lab

Teacher Lab seeks to harness the creative and collaborative efforts of a school team to improve teacher efficacy and increase student success. Teacher Labs is a valuable resource for those struggling to navigate Planned Learning Community implementation.

Distance Learning Enrichment

Global EdTech Academy

Global EdTech Academy offers video tutorials on how to use a variety of Microsoft applications for Distance Learning including FlipGrid and AR, OneNote, Digital Escape Rooms, Pear Deck, Power Point and Microsoft Teams.

Common Sense Education

A quick reference guide for tech integration into the classroom. This site can be used for quick searches or more in depth videos. A great jump start website for those navigating new technology applications for Distance Learning. 

Share My Lesson

By educators, for educators this is a site that offers both PD webinars and trainings to blogs and lesson sharing ideas. With an expansive library of videos Share My Lesson serves as both a Distance Learning training source and curriculum materials source. 

Special Population Differentiation 

Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)

Offering both in person and online learning options the CEC serves educators of special and gifted students. There is a New Special Educator Jumpstart Program for those just entering this field.
